Lando Norris led a McLaren front row lockout in qualifying for the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix with a time of 1:15.096s.

Norris led team-mate and home hero Oscar Piastri by 0.084s with Red Bull’s Max Verstappen taking third.

Mercedes’ George Russell was fourth with Yuki Tsunoda taking a mightily impressive fifth for Racing Bulls.

An impressive showing saw two Williams drivers make the top-10 in qualifying at the Albert Park circuit for the first time in a decade with Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz finishing sixth and 10th respectively.
