The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix has hosted the final race of a Formula 1 season more than any other Grand Prix circuit

The final practice session of the season at the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix ended with McLaren’s Oscar Piastri top of the timing sheets.

McLaren secured a 1-2 in FP3 after Lando Norris finished behind his team-mate by 0.193s.

Lewis Hamilton went third fastest for Mercedes ahead of Red Bull’s Max Verstappen in fourth.

Carlos Sainz finished fifth for Ferrari and Mercedes’ George Russell in sixth.

The two Haas cars followed next with Nico Hulkenberg in seventh and Kevin Magnussen in eighth.

The other Ferrari of Charles Leclerc finished ninth and Sergio Perez rounded off the top 10 in FP3 for Red Bull.
