F1 2024 United States Grand Prix – FP1 Results

Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz topped the first and only practice session for the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas.

The Spaniard led a Ferrari one-two, with Charles Leclerc playing rear gunner, 0.021s back from Sainz’s 1:33.602s benchmark.

Red Bull’s Max Verstappen was third, ahead of title rival Lando Norris.

That left McLaren’s Oscar Piastri to round out the top five ahead of the Mercedes duo of Lewis Hamilton and George Russell.

Haas’ Kevin Magnussen, Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso and RB’s Yuki Tsunoda rounded out the top 10.
