Lando Norris headed the times again in the second practice session for this weekend’s Formula 1 British Grand Prix, with McLaren team-mate Oscar Piastri in second.
Behind the two McLaren drivers came Sergio Perez’s Red Bull, with Nico Hulkenberg a surprise fourth in the Haas. Charles Leclerc rounded out the top five for Ferrari.
Lewis Hamilton was a respectable sixth in the leading Mercedes car, with Max Verstappen and Carlos Sainz in the second Red Bull and Ferrari cars next on the times.
Aston Martin’s Lance Stroll was ninth overall on the timesheets having been second during the initial Soft compounds tours, as George Russell completed the top 10.
