Charles Leclerc topped the timing sheet on the Free Practice 2 session around the Imola circuit scoring a 1:15:906. McLaren’s Oscar Piastri and RB’s Tsunoda completed the top three.
The Mercedes duo ended up in fourth and fifth, with Lewis Hamilton ahead of teammate George Russell.
Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz saw the chequered flag in sixth, followed by the Red Bull duo in uncharacteristically low finishing positions, with Max Verstappen in seventh and Sergio Perez in eight.
Haas’s Nico Hulkenberg and Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso rounded up the top 10.
