How F1 fans can prepare for the 2024 season

This year, the Formula 1 season will officially begin with the Bahrain Grand Prix races from February 29 to March 2. That being said, fans can also watch the pre-season testing in Bahrain from February 21 to February 23. 2024 will be an exceptional year for F1 fans. There are 24 races on schedule which is a record-breaking number for championship.

Because there are more races taking place, the Formula 1 season will run longer. Instead of taking place from March to December, this year’s season will run from February to December. This is great news for F1 fans. But how can F1 fans prepare and plan for the race-packed season ahead?

What are the important dates they should keep in mind? How can they make the most out of this record-breaking F1 schedule?

There are 24 races for F1 fans to watch this year. Here are the dates for each one of them.

1)   Bahrain Grand Prix

This race will take place from February 29 to March 2 and will officially launch this year’s F1 season. There is also a pre-season testing from February 21-23 that fans can watch.

Why not watch the pre-season testing while playing a game like slingo bingo or an F1-themed game?

2)    Saudi Arabian Grand Prix

A few days later, another race begins. The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix will take place from March 7-9. Start bringing out your F1-themed clothes and merchandise.

3)    Australian Grand Prix

Still in March, the Australian Grand Prix will take place from March 22-24. Why not use this race to familiarize yourself with the different racetracks of the season, new players you may not know and new race cars.

4)    Japanese Grand Prix

From April 5-7, fans will be able to watch this fourth race. Why not make it a Japanese-themed occasion? Order sushi and other Japanese dishes and drinks to immerse yourself in Japanese culture during the event.

5)    Chinese Grand Prix

The Chinese Grand Prix will take place from April 19-21. By this point, you will probably have a favorite team.

6)    Miami Grand Prix

Jumping quickly from one continent to another, racers will compete for the Miami Grand Prix from May 3-5.

7)    Emilia Romagna Grand Prix

Still in May, the Emelia Romagna Grand Prix on the legendary Imola circuit is due to take place from May 17-19.

8)    Monaco Grand Prix

This is one of the most important and famous Grand Prix. Fans want to make sure they don’t miss out on this race. From May 24-26, F1 fans should make sure they are watching the race with friends or in a public venue.

9)    Canadian Grand Prix

Switching quickly back from Europe to North America, F1 fans can watch the Canadian Grand Prix from June 7-9.

10) Spanish Grand Prix

After a quick race in North America, back to Europe. The Spanish Grand Prix will take place from June 21-23.

11) Austrian Grand Prix

Formula 1 heads back to the red Bull Ring in Spielberg which is one of the season’s favourites, F1 fans can watch this race from June 28-30.

12) British Grand Prix

The British Grand Prix will take place at the home of Formula 1, Silverstone, from July 5-7.

13) Hungarian Grand Prix

This race will also take place in July from July 19-21 at the Hungaroring just outside Budapest, a real fans’ favourite.

14) Belgian Grand Prix

July will be a busy month with this planned from July 26-28 on the iconic Spa Francorchamps circuit, the longest track of the season.

15) Dutch Grand Prix

Max Verstappen’s home grand prix takes place at Zandvoort on the Dutch North Sea coast from August 23-25.

16) Italian Grand Prix

A few days later, the Italian Grand Prix is due to take place on the legendary Monza track just north of Milan from August 30 to September 1.

17) Azerbaijan Grand Prix

Change of date and season for Baku, fans can tune in from September 13-15 for this race.

18) Singapore Grand Prix

Still in September, the Singapore Grand Prix held on the fabulous Marina Bay circuit is due to take place from September 20-22.

19) United States Grand Prix

Heading straight from Singapore to Austin, Texas, this race will be held at the Circuit of the Americas from October 18-20.

20) Mexico City Grand Prix

October races will continue, now in Mexico City, a short hop from Austin, with this Grand Prix from October 25-27.

21) Sao Paulo Grand Prix

Brazil is on the list from November 1-3, holding the only grand prix in South America.

22) Las Vegas Grand Prix

Straight back to North America and heading to Nevada on November 21-23 it will be held on the streets of Las Vegas.

23) Qatar Grand Prix

This penultimate race of the season will take place in the desert from November 29 to December 1 on the Losail circuit.

24) Abu Dhabi Grand Prix

Formula 1 fans should definitely watch the final race of the 2024 season from December 6-8 held on the Yas Marina circuit.

Conclusion

The 24 Formula 1 races of 2024 should keep fans busy for the year to come. There are many fun activities that fans can plan around these dates. For example, they can invite friends over to watch a race or go to a local bar that intends to show some of these races.
