Max Verstappen has secured the final pole position of the 2023 Formula 1 season, courtesy of a 1:23.445s lap time in Abu Dhabi.

Charles Leclerc made sure he put his Ferrari on the front row with a last-ditch lap, 0.139s behind Verstappen.

McLaren’s Oscar Piastri was third with Geroge Russell set to join him on the second row of the grid.

Lando Norris completed the top five in the second McLaren, one place ahead of an impressive Yuki Tsunoda, who posted the sixth-fastest time in his AlphaTauri.
