George Russell finished fastest in the final free practice session of the 2023 Formula 1 season, setting a 1:24.418s laptime around the Abu Dhabi Yas Marina Circuit.
The Mercedes driver finished 0.095s ahead of McLaren’s Lando Norris, with Norris’ McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri 0.392s back from the fastest time in third.
Williams’ Alex Albon impressed with the fourth fastest time as Charles Leclerc completed the top five in his Ferrari.
Red Bull’s Max Verstappen was cut adrift from the top places in sixth, with Alpine’s Esteban Ocon in seventh.
Logan Sargeant ensured both Williams were in the top-10 with the eighth fastest time, with AlphaTauri’s Yuki Tsunoda (9th) and Alfa Romeo’s Zhou Guanyu (10th) completing the top-10.
