Max Verstappen has been summoned by stewards at Formula 1’s Singapore Grand Prix for three alleged incidents during the course of qualifying.
Verstappen and Red Bull have struggled throughout the weekend at Marina Bay and mustered only 11th place on the grid.
He was also placed under investigation for three separate incidents.
The first involves alleged impeding at pit exit during Q1, when he halted his RB19, preventing the cars behind – both Mercedes drivers and Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc – from leaving the pit lane.
The second came at Turns 17/18 when Verstappen was suspected of impeding Williams’ Logan Sargeant – who was on a flying lap – during the closing stages of the first session.
The final incident came during Q2 when Verstappen was in front of AlphaTauri’s Yuki Tsunoda between Turns 3 and 4, with the Japanese driver complaining about the presence of the Red Bull.
