Charles Leclerc has ended the final practice session from the Silverstone Circuit on top of the timesheets.

The opening laps of the session were set in dry conditions, before rain forced the drivers to switch to the Intermediate tyres.

Alexander Albon continued Williams’ strong weekend by ending the outing in second place, ahead of Fernando Alonso.

Championship leader Max Verstappen was eighth fastest, with team-mate Sergio Perez in 14th.

A technical issue for Zhou Guanyu meant he was sidelined for almost all of the session.
