Formula 1 fans will be able to get their hands on a piece of F1 history as AlphaTauri has announced it will auction over 300 collector’s items.

In partnership with Catawiki, memorabilia from both the Toro Rosso and AlphaTauri eras are up for grabs including car parts, driver race suits and helmets, pit crew overalls as well as a race driven STR11 from 2016.

Proceeds from the first of five online auctions will be partly donated to the City of Faenza’s relief aid operation to support those affected by the flooding that hit the region in May.

Subsequent auctions will benefit Red Bull’s not-for-profit organisation Wings for Life.

The first online auction is open for bidding now, with future auctions set to take place in August, September, November and December.

Currently, a variety of car parts dating back to 2013 are on offer. Driver gear worn by former Red Bull juniors including Sebastian Vettel, Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen are also up for grabs as well as current pairing Yuki Tsunoida and Nyck de Vries.

One fan could also add Pierre Gasly’s 2021 race seat to their collection.
A set of Max Verstappen’s 2016 race gear is also being auctioned, including race suit and Nomex.

A 2021 AT02 rear wing used by Pierre Gasly and Yuki Tsunoda is also up for sale.

The centre-piece of the auction is chassis four of the 2016 Scuderia Toro Rosso STR11 driven by Carlos Sainz and Daniil Kvyat. Although sold without an engine, the car otherwise comes with fully functional electronics, steering and suspension.

“I am pleased to bring F1 collectors closer to the rich history of our team and give them the opportunity to own a piece of our own history,”  said AlphaTauri team principal Franz Tost.

“I like to think there will be a piece of either Toro Rosso or Scuderia AlphaTauri on display in our fans’ living rooms, up until one of our racing cars is parked in their garage.”

Genevieve Tearle, General Manager of Collectibles at Catawiki, said: “We are proud to be partnering with Scuderia AlphaTauri and helping to open their archives to F1 fans and Collectors to own a truly iconic piece of racing history.

“From their role developing world class drivers, to the current talented line up of Yuki and Nyck, the collection that we will be offering together is a truly remarkable piece of motorsport memorabilia.”
