Mercedes has been fined €10,000 for a breach of parc ferme regulations after Formula 1’s Spanish Grand Prix.

Mercedes drivers Lewis Hamilton and George Russell finished second and third respectively at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya to pick up the team’s first double podium of the season.

As per the regulations, and a note from the FIA Media Delegate which is issued as standard pre-race, no team PR personnel, or driver physios, are permitted to enter parc ferme.

Mercedes was summoned after receiving a report from the Media Delegate, subsequently confirmed by video evidence, that the driver physios from Mercedes entered parc ferme after the race on Sunday.
