The main DRS zone at the Baku City Circuit has been shortened ahead of this weekend’s Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix.

As per 2022 there will be two DRS zones at the circuit, which will host the first Sprint race of the season, as well as the inaugural Sprint Shootout session.

The first DRS zone has not been altered, with the detection point on the Safety Car 2 line before Turn 2, and the activation point 54 metres after the left-hand corner.

The other DRS zone has been truncated by 100 metres, with the activation point now 447 metres after Turn 20, the final right-hand kink along the full-throttle final sector.
