Lucas Di Grassi will lead the field for the start of Formula E’s Gen3 era, with the race getting underway on Saturday afternoon locally in Mexico City.
The Brazillian will have Jake Dennis for company on the front row after the duo battled for pole in the duel final.
Jake Hughes starred on his debut qualifying session, getting his McLaren machine into the top three.
Andre Lotterer was fourth, marking two Andretti cars in the top four positions.
Dan Ticktum and Pascal Wehrlein form row three, while Sebastien Buemi and rookie Sacha Fenestraz fill out positions seven and eight.
