The Haas Formula 1 team has presented an updated logo following the arrival of title sponsor MoneyGram.

Late last year, the US-owned squad announced that the money transfer company would be its title partner for the 2023 campaign after signing a multi-year deal.

Its logos appeared on the car in the final races of the campaign.

But for 2023, it will have a much bigger presence as the primary sponsor of the Haas team.

On Wednesday, Haas unveiled a revised team logo, which incorporates the MoneyGram symbol into the Haas ‘H’ insignia.

MoneyGram is the third title sponsor that Haas has taken on since its arrival in F1.

In 2019, it partnered Rich Energy – however that partnership fell apart mid-season due to payment issues.

For the 2021 campaign, it joined forces with Uralkali and it began 2022 with its logos on the car – however following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the team opted to part ways with the company owned by Dmitry Mazepin.

Haas will field Kevin Magnussen once again in 2023, while it has brought Nico Hulkenberg back to the grid.

The upcoming season will be Hulkenberg’s first since he was dropped by Renault at the end of 2019.

“We’re delighted we’ve hit January and will now officially be known as MoneyGram Haas F1 Team,” said Guenther Steiner, Haas Team Principal.

“When we announced MoneyGram’s title partnership with us back in October at the United States Grand Prix, this was the date we looked forward to as it’s a new year and a new name for us, complete with a new logo to launch. We have an exciting few weeks ahead with the livery reveal and then the launch of this year’s car, the VF-23, coming soon.

“After that we’re into pre-season testing then the season begins in earnest in Bahrain. Everyone at MoneyGram Haas F1 Team is raring to go alongside our new driver line-up of Kevin Magnussen and Nico Hülkenberg.

“I know MoneyGram’s partnership and activation around the team will appeal to their existing customer base while offering truly global opportunities to reach out to new customers through the Formula 1 season. We can’t wait to get started. MoneyGram Haas F1 Team – it has a good ring to it!”
