Formula 1’s 2023 season is set to begin in Bahrain on March 5, with a record-breaking 23 grands prix, including the debut of Las Vegas and return of Qatar.

Max Verstappen will be seeking his third successive world title while there will be three full-time rookies on the grid in the form of Oscar Piastri, Nyck de Vries and Logan Sargeant.

But before the field of 20 lines up on the grid in Bahrain there is the matter of car launches and pre-season testing.

Pre-season testing will take place exclusively at Bahrain’s Bahrain International Circuit from February 23 to 25.

As per the regulations each team is permitted to field only one car on each of the three days of testing.

Car launches are expected to take place in mid-February ahead of the sole three-day test.

Haas will show off its livery for the upcoming year on January 31, but has not yet disclosed when it will reveal its actual race car.

Red Bull Racing will head to New York on February 3 for the unveiling of its 2023 programme while on February 6 Williams, like Haas, will display the livery for its new challenger – but not the car that it will use to contest the upcoming campaign.

Alfa Romeo will present its C43 in Zurich the following day, February 7, ahead of an expected shakedown of the car.

AlphaTauri will mirror parent company Red Bull in heading to New York to launch its 2023 programme with its new livery launch set to coincide with the city’s famous Fashion Week.

McLaren and Aston Martin will both launch their packages on February 13, with McLaren set to unveil late in the afternoon at Woking, ahead of Aston Martin’s presentation at its expanding Silverstone campus.

Ferrari will present its 2023-spec car, currently under the codename Project 675, on February 14.

One day later, on February 15, Mercedes will show off its W14 car.

Alpine will launch its A523, to be piloted by an all-French line-up of Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon, in London on February 16.
