McLaren driver Lando Norris has unveiled a racing helmet styled like a basketball for this weekend’s Miami Grand Prix.
Norris is one of the drivers who frequently modifies his helmet design and will sport a unique scheme at the inaugural Miami round.
“I saw some people playing basketball one time, and I thought, damn, that’d make for a cool helmet,” said Norris.
“So I did it. It has some cool details on it, like my signature, my logo and my name in black with a nice neon outline.”
Norris enters the Miami weekend in sixth place in the championship after scoring a podium in Italy.
the basketball helmet would be better suited for Lulu. The porpoising in the Mercs would look like a dribbling basketball.
