Esteban Ocon remained at the head of the timesheet as the third hour of testing concluded from Bahrain. The Alpine driver’s time of 1:34.276 still places him less than a tenth ahead of Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc.

The biggest mover was Sebastian Vettel, as the Aston Martin star moved up to fourth place in the order, having occupied seventh earlier in the morning.

Williams’ running for the rest of the day is in doubt after the rear brakes of its car caught fire in the latter stages of the second hour of running.

The on-track action now enters the final 60 minutes, before four more hours of testing takes place later this afternoon.
