Wet tyres made their first appearance on Friday in Barcelona, but not because the heavens opened, but instead Pirelli arranged to have the circuit watered to test their wet tyre range. It was also an eventful day for Pierre Gasly and Fernando Alonso, both of which encountered issues, whilst the morning saw five red flags.
