Pre-season testing for the 2022 Formula 1 season got underway in Barcelona on Wednesday, with all ten teams sending their newly-designed cars onto the circuit.
While most teams conducted shakedowns prior to the start of testing, only now are they able to gain insightful data over the challengers that have been built under a new set of technical regulations.
After three days of running in Barcelona, teams will then travel for three days of action in Bahrain in two weeks’ time, with that test preceding the opening grand prix of the season in Sakhir.
