Lewis Hamilton has avoided a penalty at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix after being summoned over an alleged yellow-flag infringement.
The seven-time world champion was alleged to have ignored a double-waved yellow flag warning while on a hot lap during the final practice session.
However, the stewards have confirmed that the light panel showed a double yellow flag accidentally for less than a second.
There was no yellow flag deployed to Hamilton, meaning there was no breach in the regulations.
Hamilton ended the FP3 session in second place, two-tenths down on title rival Max Verstappen.
Hamilton was also investigated for allegedly impeding Haas’ Nikita Mazepin, and was punished by being dealt a reprimand.
