Aston Martin shares sneak peak of Vettel undergoing seat fitting

The Aston Martin Formula 1 Team has shared a sneak peak of its new signing, Sebastian Vettel, arriving at the Silverstone factory for the first time, where he spent time on the simulator, getting to know the team and underwent a seat fitting.

The four-time F1 World Champion has joined the newly-rebranded Aston Martin team, formerly Racing Point, from Ferrari after the Italian team opted against renewing his contract.

Vettel’s move to Aston Martin came at the expense of Sergio Perez’s, whose own contract was cut short by two seasons. The Mexican will race for Red Bull alongside Max Verstappen. Vettel will partner Lance Stroll, son of team owner Lawrence Stroll.

Aston Martin have been teasing clips of Vettel on social media, but on Tuesday and Wednesday it shared more substantial clips showing the 33-year-old arriving at the factory in an Aston Martin DBX.

In the second clip, Vettel can be seen undergoing a seat fitting in the team’s chassis. Social media has been going crazy over Vettel’s near haircut, or perhaps lack of hair, however you might look at it.
