The leading Rebellion R13-Gibson has suffered issues and dropped from second to third with five hours remaining in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Bruno Senna brought the #1 Rebellion into the pits, after which the car was wheeled into the garage. The car has since made it back to the track, but has dropped to third overall behind the #3 Rebellion in the hands of Romain Dumas.

Sebastien Buemi still leads overall in the #8 Toyota TS050 Hybrid.

The nineenth hour of the race saw several slow zones as lower classified cars ran into problems. The #89 Team Project 1 Porsche 911 RSR suffered a spectacular puncture at the Porsche Curves with Andreas Laskaratos behind the wheel, scattering bodywork all over the track.
