The Mugello circuit is no stranger to the reverberating echoes of racing machinery, but now for the first time ever it will play host to a Formula 1 Grand Prix.

While Monza is known to be the home of F1 in Italy, Mugello is the place where Italian fans come to worship their other motorsport legend on two-wheels, the one and only Valentino Rossi.

It’s safe to say the Tuscan countryside is one of the most picturesque places in the world, Motorsport Week has gone through some of the best shots in the build-up to the weekend’s action.
