The penultimate day of Formula 1 pre-season testing saw teams
push on with their programs to be prepared for the 2020 curtain-raiser in just
two weeks time.
Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel topped the timesheets in the SF1000 and clocked over 140 laps, this
did include a small spin and a trip to gravel at the exit of T5.
Rain overnight had hampered running in the early hours as teams
tackled the damp conditions and some drivers made mistakes as a result.
Even Mercedes ran into trouble as Lewis Hamilton’s afternoon was
spoilt by an oil pressure issue.
More aero
rakes and flo-vis was still on show, as teams try to be as prepared as
possible.
