Williams fires up its FW43 for the first time

The Williams Formula 1 team has released footage of its FW43 being fired up for the first time, ahead of pre-season testing which is scheduled to begin on February 19 at the Circuit de Catalunya-Barcelona.

It’s in stark contrast to 12 months ago when Williams’ new car was significantly delayed and only made an appearance half way through the second pre-season test, severely hampering its pre-season preparations which ultimately contributed to a woeful season.

The team scored just one point and finished last in the standings.

The FW43 is set to be unveiled on February 17 via a digital launch before debuting on-track at testing.
