Ex-Red Bull junior Dan Ticktum is set to return to the FIA F3 World Cup grid for the world-famous Macau Grand Prix on November 14-17.

Ticktum will be looking to add an unprecedented third win around the Guia circuit with the Carlin Buzz Racing team alongside 2019 F3 drivers Logan Sargeant and Felipe Drugovich.

Previous multiple winners in the F3 category, which was introduced in 1983, include Formula E’s Eduardo Mortara and Antonio Felix Da Costa and IndyCar’s Felix Rosenqvist.

All 10 outfits from the 2019 FIA F3 championship will be attending the event with three cars representing each team.

The new Dallara F3-2019 chassis will also be used for the first time which has meant upgrades have been made around the 3.8-mile Guia circuit because of the higher predicted speeds.

2019 FIA Formula 3 champion Robert Shwartzman will be looking to keep up the momentum from his title-winning campaign in an unchanged line-up for Theodore Racing Prema, with Marcus Armstrong and Jehan Daruvala.

Callum Ilott will also return to the race for a fifth time with the Sauber Junior Team by Charouz outfit. The British driver graduated to Formula 2 for 2019, but is looking to claim the elusive overall honours after a podium in last year’s qualification race.

Joining Ilott will be David Schumacher, son of 1995 winner Ralf Schumacher, and will be the fourth member of his family to race at the event.

Schumacher filled in for the injured Campos driver Alex Peroni in the final round of the championship in Sochi, Russia.

He will be joined by another famous racing family name as Enzo Fittipaldi – grandson of double Formula 1 World Champion Emerson Fittipaldi – will also make his debut at the event.

DTM’s Ferdinand Habsburg is also making another return with ART as he looks to claim the lost victory from 2017 after crashing at the final corner. Alongside him is set to be Christian Lundgaard and Sebastian Fernandez.

Red Bull-backed Juri Vips and Yuki Tsunoda will continue to race with Hitech Grand Prix, Max Fewtrell will join the team after racing for ART during the 2019 championship.

David Beckmann will spearhead the effort for Trident with Oliver Caldwell.

Germany’s Andreas Estner will be joined by local driver Hon Chio Leong at Jenzer Motorsport while Jake Hughes is currently the only driver confirmed for HWA Racelab.

MP Motorsport and Campos are yet to confirm their respective entries.
