Caca Bueno secured victory in Monaco for the sixth round of the Jaguar I-PACE eTROPHY, holding off Sergio Jimenez to take his second victory in the fully-electric production car series.

Bueno, who started alongside Jimenez on the front row of the grid after taking pole position, led from lights to flag, holding a firm advantage over his Jaguar Brazil Racing team-mate throughout the 25-minute + 1 lap race.

From pole position, Bueno led into Turn 1 and while Jimenez followed in second, carnage ensued in the battle for third when Bryan Sellers had a poor getaway from his grid box, with this allowing Stefan Rzadzinski to look around the outside of the American into the right-hand hairpin.

Diving into the first corner to maintain third, Sellers ran into the side of Rzadzinksi, with this forcing the Canadian to run wide while sixth-placed starter Katherine Legge attempted to cut through the accident in an attempt to move into fourth.

Returning onto the racing line, Rzadzinski's TWR Techeetah-backed I-PACE struck Legge, with this causing the Briton to collide with the inside exit wall, crashing out of the race.

This resulted in a safety car and subsequent red flag period with the Briton becoming the first retirement of the race.

The race was quickly restarted with 19-minutes + 1 lap of on-track action remaining and despite keeping in touch with Bueno, Jimenez was unable to challenge for the lead, with this handing the Bueno a second victory in the series.

Taking second, Jimenez took a sixth podium in seven races while Sellers stood on the final step of the podium for Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing.

Team Asia New Zealand's Simon Evans took fourth while Yaqi Zhang completed the top five to win in Pro-Am.

Bandar Alesayi took second in the Pro-Am class by finishing in sixth overall while VIP driver Anthony Beltoise was seventh ahead of Celia Martin who was eighth, taking third in the second category.

Ziyi Zhang finished one lap down in the second Team China Racing car while Rzadzinski continued lapping despite his lap 1 crash to take 10th, with Ahmed Bin-Khanen and Legge retiring.

The Jaguar I-PACE eTROPHY will return on May 25 in Berlin.
