The World Endurance Championship and IMSA have confirmed the return of the Super Sebring double header weekend in 2020.
The double header weekend was held for the first time last March in received positive feedback and it has now been confirmed that the event is set to take place once more on March 18-21 2020.
The format will be similar to this year's edition, with the WEC 1000 Miles of Sebring to be held on Friday, followed by the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring on Saturday.
Gérard Neveu, WEC CEO, commented: "The Sebring event this year was greatly enjoyed by competitors and fans alike, and it's a real pleasure to come together again with our partners at IMSA and Sebring Raceway to put on an even better show for 2020."
IMSA President Scott Atherton added: "The 2019 Super Sebring weekend exceeded expectations by every measure, and we look forward to working with the World Endurance Championship and Sebring Raceway staffs to enhance the experience in 2020 for everyone involved."
Wayne Estes, the president of Sebring International Raceway, said he hoped to build on the success of this year's edition to make next year's even better.
"A tremendous amount of work by the Sebring team and all parties involved went into making the 2019 Super Sebring weekend a success, and our goal is to build on that and again surpass the milestones established this year.
