Issue 298 of our free weekly magazine, Motorsport Monday, is available to read now and packed full of great content – click here or the link below to start reading.

Taking to the dunes of Peru one last time, the 2019 edition of the Dakar is over and the Prince of the Desert – aka Nasser Al-Attiyah – has won his third Dakar and at the same time also gave Toyota their first ever Dakar win. It was also the first ever win for a petrol engined car in the South American incarnation of the iconic event. Ryan Wood had the full story.

Then over in Mexico City it was time for this year's Race of Champions. Team Nordic took the the Nations Cup win on Saturday, narrowly edging out the favourites Germany but oh what a surprise in the Champion of Champions race yesterday afternoon. Phillip Horton has the story!

The with less than a week to go before the 2019 World Rally Championship kicks of in the south of France, Jerry Williams previews this year's Rallye Monte Carlo. With changes galore in the driver (and team boss) line-ups, Jezza explains why he thinks that Sébastien Ogier may still be the man to beat on the unpredictable roads of the Alps Maritime.
