Swiss driver Louis Delétraz headed the final day of Formula 2 post-season testing Abu Dhabi.
Carlin's Delétraz slotted himself at the top of the timesheet with a 1:49:638 around the Yas Marina Circuit to finish over two-tenths of a second clear of the chasing pack.
Italy's Luca Ghiotto reunited with Russian Time for the test, having spent the 2017 season with the team, and he ended the day second, narrowly beating DAMS' Nicholas Latifi.
Ferrari-backed Guan Yu Zhou showed well as he looks to graduate from the European Formula 3 category into F2 by clocking the fourth-fastest time of the day in the second Russian Time car.
Sergio Sette Câmara, who will be McLaren's test and development driver in 2019, claimed the fifth-fastest time of the day for DAMS, less than a tenth slower than Zhou.
Giuliano Alesi ran with the Trident team with which he spent the 2018 GP3 campaign and he was sixth, just 0.003s faster than the returning Nobuharu Matsushita, who will race in F2 for Carlin in 2019.
2018 GP3 runner-up Nikita Mazepin was eighth, ahead of MP Motorsport's Richard Verschoor and Prema's Mick Schumacher.
Saturday's third and final day of testing in Abu Dhabi brought Formula 2's 2018 track action to a close.
