Charouz Racing System's Antonio Fuoco ended his Formula 2 season on a high, securing victory at the Yas Marina Circuit.
Finishing in seventh place in Saturday's Feature Race which was won by ART Grand Prix's George Russell, Fuoco lined up in second on the grid for the reverse grid race, with ex F1 driver Roberto Merhi lining up in pole position.
Securing a perfect start from the front row of the grid, Fuoco immediately jumped Merhi to take the lead and remained unchallenged throughout the 21-lap affair, taking the chequered flag in first place in what was a largely uneventful race for the 2018 season-closing event.
Following Fuoco across the line was McLaren protege Lando Norris who battled from fourth on the grid into the podium positions, clearing Louis Deletraz, Nyck de Vries and Merhi on his charge to the runner-up spot. Merhi stood on the final step of the podium.
Starting from eighth on the grid, 2018 Formula 2 champion George Russell finished in fourth place in his final race on the junior single-seater ladder while de Vries followed him across the line to complete the top five for Prema Racing.
Deletraz secured sixth place in the second Charouz car while Artem Markelov was seventh. Alexander Albon completed the points paying positions in eighth place for DAMS.
After finishing in third place in Saturday's Feature Race, Luca Ghiotto failed to emulate his performances for Campos, missing out on a points finish in ninth place while Sergio Sette Camara recovered from a stall at the start of the race to complete the top 10.
Dorian Boccolacci fronted the second half of the field in 11th place and was followed by Nirei Fukuzumi, Jack Aitken, Alessio Lorandi and Nicholas Latifi.
Five drivers failed to see the finish at Yas Marina, with Dan Ticktum suffering from a gearbox failure while Niko Kari and Tadasuke Makino were both victims of an incident instigated by Sean Geleael in the early stages of the race, Arjun Maini failed to see the race start.
