Ed Carpenter Racing and Fuzzy's Vodka have parted ways after a lengthy partnership together which began with the inception of the ECR team in 2012.
The partnership competed in 118 IndyCar races, win three Indianapolis 500 poles and five race victories.
Team owner Ed Carpenter came second in the 2018 Indy 500, losing out to Team Penske's Will Power.
Fuzzy's Vodka has decided to move out of motorsport branding and focus on other business initiatives elsewhere going forward.
Plans for the 2019 season regarding ECR's driver line-up haven't changed; Spencer Pigot will compete a second full season with the ECR outfit in the #21 entry, while Carpenter will compete on the five oval tracks in the #20 car.
Ed Jones will be with ECR and Scuderia Corsa as a new partnership for the 2019 season and fill in the road course duties with the #20 car; he will also compete in the 103rd running of the Indianapolis 500 in the #64 entry.
The team will also continue their strong partnership with engine supplier Chevrolet.
"I am very appreciative and proud of the relationship between ECR and Fuzzy’s, really going back to before the team began," said Carpenter.
"It has been a good run and I wish them nothing but the best with their future endeavours. Tony George, Stuart Reed and I started ECR together back in 2012 and we are still as committed now as we were then to winning Indy 500s and competing for IndyCar Series championships.
"Our plans for 2019 and beyond remain unchanged and I cannot wait to see what we accomplish together moving forward."
The 2019 IndyCar Series season will open March 10 in the Streets of St. Petersburg, Florida. The 103rd Running of the Indianapolis 500 will take place on May 26, 2019.
