Antonio Felix da Costa rekindled his form from the second day of pre-season testing at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit to top the timesheets in the penultimate session of the week for BMW i Andretti Motorsport.

Setting a 1m 28.870s lap in wet conditions, da Costa led the session from DS Techeetah's Jean-Eric Vergne who was the second fastest, 0.388s behind the Portuguese racer while Mahindra Racing's Pascal Wehrlein completed the top three.

Da Costa's team-mate, Alexander Sims, secured the fourth fastest time of the session, 0.697s off the pace and 0.048s away from breaking inside the top three. Audi Sport Abt Schaeffler's Lucas di Grassi completed the top five.

Following di Grassi in sixth fastest was Envision Virgin Racing's Sam Bird who headed Nissan e.dams' Sebastien Buemi who ended the session in seventh, 1.102s off the pace.
