The most strking thing anyone will notice when they walk into the paddock at a European race are the vast motorhomes that are neatly lined up in championship order from Mercedes all the way down to Sauber.

Looking at them, you'd think they were permanent structures as they stretch three stories high, but they are of course mobile buildings that travel Europe from race-to-race.

They're the first things to arrive at a race and the last to leave as they take approximately two days to construct and another two to 'de-rig', which is the official term for collapsing and packing the structure onto the fleet of lorries that move it from country to country.

In McLaren's case, their 'Brand Centre', as it's known, uses 16 trucks, more than 20 people and weighs over 140 tonnes.

It's a major job for a back-to-back event, but the first ever triple-header or France-Austria-Britain, will truly test the crews that work on the motorhomes.

Mercedes

Mercedes' motorhome is a sleek structure and made its debut in the paddock in 2012.

Ferrari

Ferrari are the only team that has two motorhomes, one is reserved for team members and drivers, the other is specifically used to entertain media and guests.

Red Bull

By far the largest, Red Bull's 'Energy Station' caters for both Red Bull and Toro Rosso.

Force India

The team motorhomes house offices, rest rooms for driver and full kitchens to feed an army of staff.

Williams

The second most recent addition to the paddock is Williams' motorhome which features a rooftop bar for entertaining.

Renault

Renault has by far the most conservative motorhome of all the teams.

Haas

The smallest motorhome goes to F1's newest team, Haas, and is obviously the newest addition to the paddock.

McLaren

One of the most popular motorhomes is McLaren's 'Brand Centre'. A reflective building with one-way glass which makes it very secretive.

Sauber

Sauber's motorhome with an added splash of red following its link-up with Alfa Romeo.

Honda

With no team of its own, Honda is based in a small twin-truck motorhome.

Pirelli

Tyre supplier Pirelli has its own motorhome, as it too, has plenty of mouths to feed during a race weekend.

FIA

Strictly invite only, the FIA even has its own motorhome.

Formula 1

And of course Liberty Media has somewhere for Carey, Brawn, Bratches and Co to hang out.

Bonus: Red Bull's Back-UP

Red Bull borrowed KTM's motorhome, the Holzhaus, for the Austrian GP as the task of building/de-rigging its giant Energy Station for the Triple Header was too much.
