Formula E has unveiled a 13-round calendar for its upcoming 2018/19 season five which will begin on December 15 in Saudi Arabia, which is due to hold its first major international motorsport event to coincide with a lifting of its ban on women drivers.

Hong Kong, which opened the current season with a double-header event has been moved to March, but has been reduced to just one race, although a second race in China has been pencilled in with the city yet to be decided.

Round three on the schedule is also unconfirmed, though Chile occupies a similar spot on the current calendar and isn't listed on the 2018/19 version. Neither is Uruguay.

A New York double-header will close the season as has become tradition, with a July 13-14 slot.
