During the recent travels I watched a string of movies, most of which I have entirely forgotten already, but there was one with Ben Stiller called Brad's Status (I had to look up the title), which was a rather plodding belly-button-gazing affair about what is important in life, with Stiller feeling like a failure because he runs a non-profit organization and all his old friends have become rich and famous. He duly finds out that their lives are all horrible and that he is actually the lucky one… It is all about how perceptions can be misleading and how one needs to understand what one has.
