Reigning Blancpain GT Series overall and endurance champion Grasser Racing will return to the competition in 2018 with an increased presence.
The Austrian squad confirmed it will campaign three Lamborghini Huracan GT3s in both the BGTS Sprint and Endurance championships, adding one car to each of its programmes.
Overall drivers' champions Mirko Bortolotti and Christian Engelhart have once again teamed with fellow factory driver Andrea Caldarelli, who joined the pair in winning the 2017 endurance crown.
Ex-Formula 1 tester Franck Perera, who signed from the rival HTP Mercedes squad in the winter, will co-drive a second Lamborghini with Rolf Ineichen and an as-yet-unnamed third driver.
The third Huracan for Grasser's BGTS Endurance title assault is set to be shared by Ezequiel Perec Companc, Raffaele Gianmaria, and another driver whose identity is yet to be announced.
In the BGTS Sprint Cup, Grasser will run three cars for Bortolotti/Engelhart, Perez Companc/Caldarelli, and Perera/Loris Hezemans.
The team has also pledged a trio of Huracans for the German ADAC GT Masters series.
Team owner Gottfried Grasser said, "We can be very happy with third place in Dubai and above all our historic win in the Daytona 24 Hours in January."
"Now, we want to defend our Blancpain GT Series title and try to finally bring the ADAC GT Masters title to Austria as well."
"With the proven Lamborghini Huracan GT3, we have a race car that is capable of winning. We are well aware that our goals are ambitious, but we will do our utmost to build on our most recent achievements.”
Grasser started the new season by winning its class at the Daytona 24 Hours, two weeks after claiming an overall podium at the 24 Hours of Dubai.
The Blancpain GT Series gets underway with the Sprint Cup opener at Zolder on April 7-8.
