Ferrari driver Kimi Raikkonen has been voted ‘Driver of the Day’ by fans after finishing the Hungarian Grand Prix in second place.
The Finnish driver had a good start to retain his position into the first corner, before losing some ground to his team-mate and race leader Sebastian Vettel.
When Vettel started to struggle with a steering issue, Raikkonen closed in, and attempts to try and get close enough to challenge.
But, frustratingly for the thousands of Finnish fans in Hungary, Raikkonen could not quite get close enough to make a move and team orders also came into play.
Raikkonen took the Driver of the Day award, which is voted by fans from the mid-point of the race, for the first time this season.
