Felipe Massa has been cleared to drive in Saturday’s final practice session after requiring a medical check-up on Friday evening in Hungary.
Massa complained of feeling unwell during the second session on Friday afternoon and visited the medical centre, before going to the MH EK Honvedkorkaz hospital for further precautionary checks.
Williams reserve driver Paul di Resta was placed on standby, with the Briton carrying out checks in the FW40 early on Saturday morning.
Massa, though, was cleared by the FIA Medical Delegate at the Hungaroring and will resume duties as usual.
The Brazilian will need to conduct a further routine check after the one-hour session to ensure he is fine to compete in qualifying.
