Pieter Schothorst topped the timesheets for Audi during Friday practice on the Blancpain GT Series Sprint Cup's annual visit to Zolder.
Driving the #3 WRT-entered Audi R8 LMS, Schothorst led both the morning and afternoon sessions, with his quickest time being a 1:30.064 during the opening set of runs.
This weekend, the Dutch driver will share duties with European F3 race winner Jake Dennis during the pair of 60-minute contests on Saturday and Sunday which comprise the third round of the championship.
The pair currently sit 18th in the BGTS Sprint Cup standings following a season-best ninth place finish at the Brands Hatch event last month.
Audis occupied the top five places during the morning session at Zolder, with Dries Vanthoor lapping to within two tenths of Schothorst's best attempt.
Vanthoor's time of 1:30.215s in the car shared with three-time Le Mans winner Marcel Fässler held out as the second-best effort of the day overall.
Third quickest was the ISR Audi of Clemens Schmid/Filip Salaquarda, ahead of the Silver-class Strakka Racing McLaren 650S GT3 driven by Lewis Williamson/David Fumanelli.
The championship-leading Mercedes AMG-GT3 of Maximilian Buhk and Franck Perera finished ninth in FP2, and highest of the Mercedes contingent.
The Lamborghini Huracan GT3 driven by Mirko Bortolotti and Christian Engelhart, which is looking to win its fifth race in a row this weekend to close on the points leaders, wound up outside the top-10 in both sessions.
Quickfire qualifying for Saturday afternoon's half-points race will take place at 09:15 tomorrow (Saturday, June 3rd).
The qualifying race is set to begin at 15:00, with the main race bookmarked for 15:30 on Sunday (all times local; UTC+1).
