Arden racer Leonardo Pulcini and ART's Jack Aitken set the pace on the second and final day of GP3 testing at the Valencia circuit in Spain.
Pre-season GP3 testing concluded with series newcomer Pulcini and Renault youngster Aitken putting in identical times, with their laps of 1:21.233 being set in the opening hour of the morning session.
With drivers focusing more on qualifying runs in the morning, all of the quickest times of the day came from the earlier session.
Day one pacesetter Dorian Boccolacci was third on the leaderboard for Trident, although he has yet to be confirmed at a team for the 2017 season.
Alessio Lorandi was fastest on the afternoon but couldn’t beat his morning time, leaving him fourth for Jenzer, ahead of Campos driver Raoul Hyman and Trident’s Ryan Tveter.
Mercedes-backed rookie George Russell ended the day seventh in the second ART car, with DAMS racer Santino Ferrucci next up.
Arden’s Niko Kari was ninth and Anthoine Hubert edged his ART team-mate Nirei Fukuzumi to the final spot in the top 10.
The entire field, from first to 19th, was separated by just over one second. The GP3 season begins in Barcelona from May 12-14.
