The FIA World Endurance Championship has revealed its provisional entry list for 2017, with a total of 28 cars set to take part.
15 prototypes and 13 GT cars will participate in the sixth season of the ACO's premier sportscar series, which formed in 2012.
Five LMP1s highlight the lineup for the nine-race calendar, with Toyota and Porsche set to run two hybrid cars each and ByKolles Racing down as the only privateer entry.
The loss of Audi and Rebellion Racing from the top class means the overall entry is down four from last season.
LMP2 is the most populous category with 10 ORECA 07-Gibsons, including a two-car return for defending series and Le Mans champion Signatech Alpine.
Rebellion Racing, Jackie Chan Racing, TDS Racing and Manor will also field two cars each, with one of the TDS entries taking on the G-Drive Racing banner.
In GTE-Pro, eight cars from four manufacturers – Aston Martin, Ferrari, Porsche and Ford – will line up for the category's inaugural season as a licenced FIA World Championship.
Defending drivers' champions Nicki Thiim and Marco Sørensen have been confirmed to return in the #95 Aston Martin Vantage.
Five GTE-Am entries complete the list, with Spirit of Race (AF Corse), Clearwater Racing, Dempsey-Proton Racing, Gulf Racing and Aston Martin Racing all set for the full season.
The 2017 World Endurance Championship will feature races at Silverstone, Spa-Francorchamps, Le Mans, the Nürburgring, Mexico City, Austin, Fuji, Shanghai and Bahrain. Round one, the 6 Hours of Silverstone, takes place on April 16.
