Trident completes 2016 GP2 driver line-up

Trident has completed its driver line-up for the 2016 GP2 season, announcing Philo Paz Armand will race for the team.

The Indonesian will partner last year’s GP3 runner-up Luca Ghiotto, who was confirmed at the Italian outfit earlier this week.

Armand started his single-seater career in Formula Renault 2.0, racing in the BARC winter championship in 2012, before finishing 28^th in the NEC series.

In 2014 he placed 18^th in FR2.0 Alps and also competed in four Eurocup rounds. He stepped up to Formula Renault 3.5 last year with Pons Racing, racing nine times and scoring a best finish of 10^th in Monaco.
