The new European Grand Prix, which will be held on the streets of Azerbaijan's capital city, Baku, will start in the evening, making it the latest twilight event to join the Formula 1 calendar.
With the FIA confirming race starts for the 2016 season, it has been revealed that the European GP will start at 6pm local time (2pm BST), just over three hours before sunset.
It's believed a late start has been opted for in order to avoid a clash with the 24 Hours of Le Mans, which finishes just as the race begins on June 19. The clash sparked outrage amongst motorsport fans on social media.
Qualifying for the event will also start at 6pm local time, finishing well before darkness decends on the city.
Elsewhere on the schedule, the majority of races start at the same times as in 2015.
