Stats: Power unit component usage after five races

There is a greater focus on reliability and durability in 2015 as a result of the strict limits put on the power units. Whilst Mercedes and Ferrari are well within the requirements, both Renault and Honda are already nearing the maximum, which could prove vital in their fight for points come the end of the season.

Should a driver exceed the allocation of any of the components below – of which they get just four per season – one fewer than in 2014 – then they will be hit with a grid penalty.

Should a driver use a fifth component for the first time, they will be hit with a ten-place grid penalty. A five-place penalty will be applied to any fifth component after that and so on.

Here are the latest statistics concerning use ahead of the Monaco Grand Prix weekend, which is round five of the championship.
