Romain Grosjean kept Lotus top on the final day of the second pre-season test in Barcelona using the super-soft tyres to set his best time.
The Frenchman might have been quickest, but with Nico Rosberg coming in second, just two-tenths slower on the medium tyres, Grosjean will know Lotus aren’t going to be beating Mercedes any time soon.
Daniil Kvyat was third fastest ahead of Felipe Nasr, Williams’ Valtteri Bottas and Toro Rosso’s Carlos Sainz Jr who suffered a crash at Turn Three, ending his session early.
Fellow Spaniard Fernando Alonso also crashed at the same corner. He was airlifted to hospital but was later cleared following a CT scan.
