Marussia’s assets are to be auctioned off in mid-December by order of FRP Advisory, the administrators currently in charge of the Banbusy-based team.
The outfit entered administration following the Russian Grand Prix but hoped to return to the grid in Abu Dhabi. However the funding failed to come through ahead of the deadline and the team were forced to sit out the final race of the 2014 season.
A return next season looks almost impossible, with FRP Advisory closing the team’s headquarters and putting its assets up for sale.
CA Global Partners will handle the auction, with a list of items ranging from transporters to spares and even the team’s 50 per cent scale model of their 2015 car (pictured).
The auction takes place between December 16-17 at their base in Banbury. More information can be found here.
