Pastor Maldonado used Twitter to vent his frustration over inconsistent penalties after Sebastian Vettel was handed a reprimand on Friday for an incident similar to his Monaco clash with Sergio Perez.
The Venezuelan clipped the front-wing of Perez in Monaco during FP3 after he cut across too soon and was later handed a ten-place grid penalty.
However Vettel was only given a ‘slap on the wrist’ after he forced Bruno Senna to run wide at the final chicane during FP1 when he ran up the inside of the Williams and clipped Senna’s front-wing.
“Today we have clearly seen that the penalties are not equal for all the teams and drivers,” tweeted Maldonado before later deleting the message.
