Ferrari has announced that technical director Aldo Costa, has stepped down from his role following a disappointing start to their season.
The move will also see former-McLaren employee Pat Fry become the Italian outfits director of chassis development, whilst production is in the hands of Corrado Lanzone and engine and electronics continues with Luca Marmorini.
All three will report directly to the Team Principal, Stefano Domenicali.
Costa won’t leave the team, instead he will “take on new responsibilities within the company,” they revealed.
Ferrari has endured a torrid start to the 2011 season, though they have managed to improve their pace since the Australian GP, but are yet to get on terms with Red Bull and McLaren, both of which lapped the Ferrari’s last weekend in Spain.
